Preparation Notebook

* The nature of the preparation notebook: actually it is a file , you buy it and fill it with papers inside plastic files, so, you will not buy a certain type of notebook from the stationary, pay attention to that :) but a file as this .

 

* First page : write your name , school, class, year, supervisor, term ,with a brief introduction about the notebook& yourself as the following one :

* Next page : the general objectives of the course of the stage you're teaching, i.e. Elementary stage, Intermediate stage, or Secondary stage.

* Next page : your daily timetable.

*  Next page : your course distribution.

*  Design and color :it is better to choose a theme for your preparation book and follow it in each design.

For example, if the cover is pink, choose another color for the papers suits the whole

design as purple or green , etc. This will give impression that you are an organized person.

My advice 

To all Training Teachers

* don't be afraid from teaching .

* don't think about it unless you are about to practice it . 

* don't believe all people's bad or negative experiences .

* your opinion about teaching will be changed after practicing, so, don't

  say anything before experience .

* love teaching and love your students while practicing to let students enjoy your 

  class then participate with you , then you get the high mark.

* cooperate , cooperate , and cooperate . 

                                                          ( Will be refreshed )

My Portfolio 

Teaching Practicum

It's my made .. :)

I put flashcards & games I made & used

while practicing teaching.

Before practicing teaching, I was waiting 

for this term to make my own "Preparation book"

and "Portfolio" . Thanks be to Allah, I got the chance

to design them . Also, I'm proud because our 

supervisor in TP* chose my "preparation book & portfolio"

to be the best -as suggested from the university-.

 Then , I gave it to my University to include them in

 the "Teaching Practicum Exhibit " next year in sha Allah.

Hope them be useful examples for dear coming friends in 

the English department. After I take my portfolios, I'll 

try to take photos for the preparation book. Actually I have some, 

but I see them not good and fair to give a good idea about it 
at the same time, they're not as professional as Ali's photography
-ma sha'Allah- .

Note :

If you are a training teacher, 

in the English Department,you are

welcome to ask about what to put into 

these folders. I'll be glad to tell you

in details and give you samples of 

the things I included in them .

You may ask here, then we will

The Ugly Book

Hi there ..!! 

We ," Training Teachers ", face a big problem with someone

called (ر دفتر الانتظاi  ر ) .. it is a beast that interrupts our break times,

chats, works and breakfasts ...

When we feel that it is on his way to attack some of us , we directly 

put our foot and run away to any place .. :P

Yes, it makes us laugh sometimes and angry Many times ..

Sorry ( Um Sultan )  for our dull and silly words we said to you,

actually they weren't to you , they were to someone else ...:P

I hardly could take a photo to this ugly book because many times one 

of the teachers brings it to us .. so we have to choose periods and sign silently .. 

Love you these days ...  >>   wants to cry

she was a silent friend but it worked with

us and did a nice job .. especially with me,

Amoorah & Laloosh ...

We were about to fight in having turns to

drop some of its blood on each bite ...

Evaluation

I made this Evaluation  form with a help from my friends 

during Teaching Practicum. We passed it to our students

in the last week from" TP ". We asked students to answer

it seriously and fairly with no exaggerations. I stressed

on that their evaluation will help me alot to avoid

weakness and to improve goodness.

For me, I received funny evaluations, bad ones,

fair ones and little unfair ..

So expect anything from your students to 

help improving yourself because sometimes

your supervisor may not mention all your 

weakness or goodness, so the best thing 

is to know them from the recipient (students).

You can change the form to suit the purpose

you want it for .

* It is for English Language Teachers .

Questions Forms

This file, as its name suggests, contains some of the question words that students

 may face in their exams.

You can pass this file to your students, since most of our students don't 

understand the questions in exam, & they keep on asking " what shall we do here? " 

or " what do you mean by such & such?"...

So, you can help them by preparing them with this file before the exam ...

Actually, you can add your own questions that you used to give to your students.

Also, you can share yours with us here, your work is appreciated.
